Cynthia is an innovative & adventurous chef with a fun, eclectic style
and a commitment to local, fresh, sustainably harvested foods. She
specializes in festive, flavorful, beautifully presented dishes that celebrate
the season, the event, and the ingredients. Cynthia's dishes come straight from the heart - her passion for cuisine
is evident in all her creations.
As well as full service catering and in-home chef services, Cynthia
has additional experience in event planning & coordination, staffing,
capacity planning, special diets, unique dining experiences, and bar coordination.
She is presently executive chef and owner of Cynthia Washburn Culinary
Services, as well as a recurring guest chef for The Ghetto
Gourmet, an
underground supper club in Oakland, and an event chef with Grace Street
Catering in Alameda.
